Many aeons ago
As the Sun birthed Venus
The molten planet Earth
Began to rapidly cool
As it found residence
In the humid orbit
Older brother Mars
Previously called home

A dejected Maldek
Gathered scattered pieces
Of his once blue planet
Whose many inhabitants
Ignorantly committed
Planetary suicide
And drifted out further
From the place of his birth
To what would one day be known
As the Asteroid Belt
